By the end of 2021, Russia may reach a record in gas production. The corresponding statement was made by the Deputy Prime Minister of the country Alexander Novak, speaking at the Russian Energy Week, RIA Novosti reports.
“This year we will probably have record volumes of gas production that Gazprom produces,” he said.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Gazprom is fully fulfilling its obligations under all contracts.
Earlier, Novak said that there was no appeal from the European Union on the issue of increasing the supply of Russian gas, while the demand for energy resources in European countries reached a maximum in 25 years.
