The Belarusian Embassy in Russia clarified the ambassador’s statements about his readiness to sign roadmaps for integration at the meeting of the presidents.
The embassy of Belarus in Russia stressed that the media “did not quite correctly” interpret the statement of the ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko about the intention of the leaders of the countries to sign all roadmaps on integration within the framework of the Union State.
In connection with the not entirely correct interpretation by a number of media of the words of the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko within the framework of the visit to the Voronezh region, the embassy once again clarifies that the joint work of the parties on union integration programs continues in a constructive manner.

It is emphasized that the results of the work on the roadmaps will be reported to “the heads of state, who will discuss them during a face-to-face meeting on September 9 in Moscow and decide on further steps,” RBC reports.
As Tsargrad reported earlier, Ambassador Semashko noted that the only unresolved issue in the plans for the integration of the two states is the tariff for gas transportation.
The meeting of the presidents of Russia and Belarus is scheduled for September 9.
