The Norwegian biathletes took the entire podium in the pursuit at the fifth stage of the World Cup in Oberhof, Germany.
The first to arrive at the finish line was Sturla Legrade, who covered the distance of 12.5 km in 36 minutes 01.8 seconds and had two penalties on four shooting ranges. Johannes Dale (+15.6 seconds; two penalties) and Tarja Boe (+25.4; three penalties) finished next.
Among the Russians, the best result was shown by biathlete Matvey Eliseev, who took 16th place (+1.18.7; 3). Alexander Loginov, Eduard Latypov, Kirill Streltsov and Evgeny Garanichev took 17th, 22nd, 51st and 54th places, respectively.
The fifth stage of the World Cup in Oberhof will end on January 10.
