Nikita Dzhigurda lost a multi-million dollar inheritance

Outrageous artist Nikita Dzhigurda lost his money and chances for a comfortable life.

For several years, the trials for the inheritance of the late businesswoman Lyudmila Bratash continued. The woman left behind an impressive fortune, for which her friend, actor Nikita Dzhigurda, and sister Svetlana Romanova fought. Finally, the point in the scandalous case has been put.

The Moscow City Court ruled in favor of Lyudmila Bratash’s sister, Svetlana Romanova. Now a relative of the deceased owns three apartments in Moscow and one in Paris. They are accompanied by parking spaces and a pantry, as well as multimillion-dollar cash deposits with interest, lying in one of the capital’s banks.

Throughout the scandalous process, the parties presented more and more information and evidence of their innocence. The decisive argument was the absence of the original will from Dzhigurda and Anisina, where Bratash allegedly indicated the actor and his wife as their sole heirs. And in this case, the inheritance is carried out according to the established order, and Romanova is the only heiress to whom the notary must issue all the necessary certificates and documents.

Earlier, the artist said that he met a businesswoman in 2010, while on vacation abroad. In the same year in the United States, Bratash allegedly bequeathed to him all her fortune. However, as follows from the case file, in 2010 the woman’s entry into the States was not registered. In 2016, Lyudmila died under mysterious circumstances.

Dzhigurda and his wife were already preparing to inherit, but the sister of the deceased, Svetlana, appeared on the horizon. She filed a counterclaim to invalidate the will. The court pointed out the impossibility of verifying the disputed document.

The proceedings went on for six long years. This time, representatives of Themis awarded all the property to Romanova. Whether Dzhigurda will challenge the decision is still unknown.
