The striker of the French football club Paris Saint-Germain Neymar has been suspended for two games and one more meeting conditionally, reports RT.
As previously reported, in the match of the third round of the French championship, the football club "Marseille" for the first time since 2011 won over rivals from PSG.
At the end of the match, Neymar hit the Marseille footballer Alvaro Gonzalez on the back of the head with his fist, for which he received a red card. This episode provoked a massive brawl between the players.
After the game, the Brazilian said that Gonzalez repeatedly insulted him on the basis of racism.
By the decision of the disciplinary committee, Neymar was disqualified for two upcoming matches and one more meeting conditionally. His teammate Leandro Paredes received a similar punishment. PSG's Layven Kurzawa was suspended from the next six matches.
The player of “Marseille” Jordan Amavi, in turn, has been suspended for three games, his teammate Dario Benedetto - for one meeting.
Earlier, Neymar said that he will remain playing at PSG for the entire next season.
