President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are holding talks in Istanbul, TASS reports.
The office of the Turkish leader told reporters that the meeting of the politicians is taking place at the Huber Palace.
Zelenskiy arrived in Turkey to attend the ninth meeting of the high-level strategic council. Representatives of the two countries will discuss Turkish-Ukrainian relations and the level of strategic partnership in all aspects. It is expected that decisions can be made to develop and deepen bilateral cooperation.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian leader spoke on the phone for the first time with US President Joe Biden. Politicians discussed ways to fight corruption and implement reforms.
