The foreign ministers of NATO member states declared the need for dialogue and de-escalation in the situation between Russia and Ukraine. This was announced by the US representation in the alliance in its microblog on Twitter.

On the eve of the meeting of the RF-NATO Council, which will take place in Brussels on January 12, the foreign ministers stressed the need for diplomacy, dialogue and de-escalation, the report says.

Note that the Council meeting will be preceded by another round of dialogue between Russia and the United States in Geneva on strategic stability.

Recently, the US State Department announced that the North Atlantic Alliance is ready for a constructive dialogue with the Russian Federation, including on the situation around Ukraine.
