Natalya Rudova played one of the roles in Pavel Priluchny’s new series “Life on Call”. As the title suggests, the film is about prostitutes, pimps, and competition in this tough business.
Rudova traditionally got the role of a whore, with which she coped with all 100. The first episodes came out and the audience remained dissatisfied, there are a lot of comments on the network that the picture does not shine with smart dialogues, but the actors play with talent. And in general, the audience is wondering when, in fact, we will start making good quality films? How many prostitutes and stupid comedies can be sold to the public? Natalya Rudova responded to criticism, saying that the point was not at all about filmmakers, but that our people love chernukha and are interested in the life of whores. The audience goes to such films more willingly than to the conditional “Titanic”.
“Well, they can’t film the Titanic here, so what can you do now. Yes, our people are more interested in whores, unfortunately, ”Natalya said.
Or maybe we just don’t make Titanic because we don’t try and don’t want to bother? It’s easier to saturate a mediocre movie with nudity and below-the-belt humor, play on base instincts and make more money.
In general, does anyone know good modern Russian films? We share in the comments.
