The head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko, announced on September 12 that the development of the second Russian vaccine against coronavirus is proceeding normally, RIA Novosti reports.
The minister said that clinical trials of the drug are now being completed, and then it will undergo an examination.
Earlier it was reported that the first Russian vaccine against COVID-19 "Sputnik V", the production of which began on August 15, began to be shipped to the regions. According to Murashko, she will be admitted until September 14.
On September 9, the post-registration phase of testing this drug started in the Russian Federation. It is noted that a two-fold scheme of vaccine administration allows the formation of an immune response in 100% of cases.
