Murashko spoke about post-registration trials of the Sputnik V vaccine

About 14% of participants in post-registration trials of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine complain of weakness and muscle pain, and occasionally there is an increase in temperature, reports TASS, referring to the statement of the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

The minister stressed that these side effects are described in the drug's instructions and, as a rule, disappear within a day and a half.

According to the ministry, more than 300 people have already been vaccinated as part of post-registration tests.

Murashko said that the production of the Russian vaccine is going according to plan, three large enterprises are engaged in its manufacture.

Recall that in August, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation registered the world's first vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19, developed by the Gamaleya Research Center for Electrochemistry and Manufacturing, and produced jointly with the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

Earlier it was reported that this vaccine more than 50 states have already shown interest.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the first country to receive the Russian vaccine will be Belarus.
