Murashko did not rule out that those vaccinated against COVID may need revaccination

People who have been vaccinated against coronavirus may need revaccination in the future. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

According to him, this will depend on the formation of population immunity in Russia and in the world. The Minister spoke about the system for monitoring the health status of the population after vaccination.

“We have an electronic resource where all this data is collected. Therefore, we assess how a person reacts, how protected he is, ”Murashko said in an interview on the Vesti program on the Russia-1 TV channel.

The Minister noted that for revaccination, it is possible that they will use the single-component vaccine “Sputnik Light”, which is now undergoing registration.

Murashko also clarified that he himself was vaccinated with Sputnik V. According to him, he has developed a good immune response.

Earlier, the Gamaleya Center said that several employees were re-vaccinated with Sputnik V.
