Murashko believes that elderly people with coronavirus need to be hospitalized

The head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said that it is better to hospitalize elderly people with coronavirus.

According to him, this can be done even as a preventive measure. The minister noted that there is enough bed capacity in the country, RIA Novosti reports.

Murashko believes that sick people over 80 years of age can also be put in the hospital for preventive purposes, without waiting for any serious complications.

Earlier it was reported that Mikhail Murashko and the head of the Union of the medical community “National Medical Chamber” Leonid Roshal signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of healthcare.

Within its framework, draft regulations in this area will be sent to the National Medical Chamber, which will express the opinion of the community.

In addition, the agreement will allow more active interaction on the issues of advanced training of medical workers and the protection of their rights.
