Another sanctions attack from the West should be ignored, the expert is sure
Professor of the Department of National Security at the Russian Foreign Ministry Academy Ivan Surma said that the Russian side would be better off refusing a mirror answer to the question with the so-called "Navalny's list."
According to the expert, Moscow should not stoop to such a low level. At the same time, Surma believes that the Russian Federation, in principle, is not going to introduce reciprocal personal restrictions.
“This is a tortured case, it’s out of the hand,” the specialist noted in an interview with NSN.
The professor recalled the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that this whole story was a project of a number of European powers. So to play the same games as the West - to impose retaliatory sanctions and so on - is not serious. According to Ivan Surma, if you react to the next anti-Russian actions, then do it "in essence."
The professor also drew attention to the fact that the list includes middle-level civil servants, so it is unlikely that the "Navalny's list" will cause any countermeasures from Russia.
Recall that the European Union has not yet officially published a list of persons who will be "punished" because of the situation around the allegedly poisoned opposition leader Alexei Navalny. However, the names of the alleged defendants of the black list have already leaked to the media.
