Moscow is preparing a response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the NATO mission. According to the Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, as of today, there is actually no bilateral cooperation as such.
Earlier it became known that NATO will send eight employees of the Russian mission to the alliance, who are supposedly intelligence officers. In addition, they intend to reduce the number of accreditations for Russia to 10.
According to Peskov, at the moment there is no need to talk about cooperation.
“Actually, there is no cooperation,” he said, noting that NATO counterparties are narrowing the possibilities for dialogue.
He clarified that countermeasures in the form in which they correspond to Russia’s interests will be formulated and implemented. At the same time, Peskov added that NATO’s actions once again confirmed the perception of the alliance by Russia – in our country, the alliance is perceived as a bloc that has an anti-Russian orientation.
