Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the additional allocation of more than 3.6 billion rubles to finance measures for the integrated development of rural areas and subsidize the rural mortgage program at 3% per annum. The press service of the government informs about it.
At the expense of financing, schools, kindergartens, sports complexes, swimming pools, gas and water pipelines will be built and reconstructed, the report says. A total of 30 projects for the integrated development of rural areas are planned to be implemented in 22 regions of Russia. These measures will create more than seven thousand jobs.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Russia approved the Strategy for the Development of the Forestry Complex until 2030. According to the document, the contribution of the forestry industry to the country’s economy in nine years should increase to 1.14 trillion rubles, today this figure is two times less.
Mikhail Mishustin also instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to expand grant support to farmers. The Prime Minister signed the corresponding decree following his working visit to Adygea.
