The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said that more than 12 thousand Russians have been vaccinated with the Russian drug for the coronavirus Sputnik-V.
As Dmitriev told the Russia-24 TV channel, clinical trials of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus are going well, the results show a very good level of antibodies in vaccinated volunteers.
Also, according to Dmitriev, Russia will share the results of clinical trials with other countries.
Let us recall that the Sputnik V vaccine, developed by the Gamaleya Research Center for Electrochemistry with the support of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, was registered on August 11, and on September 9 the post-registration phase of its trials began in Russia.
Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said that the Sputnik-V coronavirus vaccine could be launched in Russia in late October or early November.
Earlier, a poll conducted by the United Russia party showed that 73% of Russians are not ready to get vaccinated against the new coronavirus.
