A state of emergency will begin to operate in Moldova on April 1. This decision was made by the country’s parliament in order to reduce the spread of coronavirus, reports TASS.
At an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, 52 deputies voted for the introduction of the state of emergency.
It is specified that the regime will last until May 30. The document says that during this period, the Emergency Situations Commission will be able to introduce a special border crossing regime, restrict the movement of people within the country and the activities of economic agents, as well as take other measures to combat the coronavirus.
