The Moldovan company Energocom has announced a tender for the supply of 1.5 million cubic meters of gas, according to the state-owned enterprise’s website.
It is noted that the National Emergency Situations Commission instructed Energocom to purchase gas, which will be supplied to the Moldovan border. According to the prescribed conditions, payment will be made in full, and the agreed volume of the resource will be delivered the next day after the announcement of the winner of the tender, namely, on October 28.
“Today Energocom invites suppliers to submit a proposal for the third tender,” – follows from the message.
A day earlier, Energocom’s tender for the supply of 1 million cubic meters. m of gas was won by the Dutch company Vitol, another contract for the purchase of 1 million cubic meters. m of fuel the Moldovan side signed with the Polish company PGNiG. In addition, Chisinau has agreed with the Ukrainian “Naftogaz” on the purchase of 700 million cubic meters of gas, if necessary.
The government explained that these volumes will be used to balance the pressure drop in the republic’s gas transmission network.
