Mishustin named the new deputy head of the Ministry

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin appointed Vladimir Belanovsky, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, as a substitute.

The corresponding order of the head of the Cabinet posted on the official Internet portal of legal information. Belanovsky also holds the post of the head of the FSO Special Communications Service.

In July, Mishustin made a decision to increase the number of deputy heads of the Ministry of Digital Arts Maksut Shadayev from eight to nine. Thus, Belanovsky became his ninth deputy and no one had held this post before him.

In addition, Kirill Bogdanov, who previously held the position of Deputy General Director for Information Technologies at Aeroflot, was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. This is reported in the published order of the government.

Earlier it became known that the ex-head of Rusnano Anatoly Chubais was appointed special representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin for relations with international organizations. The press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov stressed that Chubais in his new position will not be a civil servant and will not be included in the staff of the administration.

December 2 President Vladimir Putin proposed the first deputy chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission, Sergei Kulikov, to become the head of Rusnano instead of Chubais, who headed the organization since its inception in 2011. Shortly thereafter, the government approved the resignation of the former head of the company and recommended that Kulikov be appointed as his successor. On December 4, the board of directors of JSC Rusnano approved Kulikov’s candidacy.
