The government will simplify the procedure for obtaining subsidies for housing and communal services, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"The government will simplify the conditions for receiving subsidies for housing and utilities," said the head of the Cabinet.
Mishustin explained that in order to receive subsidies, Russians will not need to present a certificate of the absence of payment arrears. Information about debts will be stored in a unified system of interdepartmental electronic interaction and regional systems connected to it.
“All these decisions are needed so that people do not have to go to the authorities and offices,” the prime minister added.
Earlier, Mishustin signed an order on the redistribution of nine billion rubles to provide citizens with benefits in paying for housing and communal services. Such benefits are provided to certain categories of the population from among veterans, disabled people, as well as victims of radiation or man-made disasters. These citizens can pay half of the cost of housing and communal services, the rest is paid by the state.
