The withdrawal of Belarusian peacekeepers from Kazakhstan has been completed, the Belarusian Defense Ministry said.
Servicemen of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade were delivered by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces to the military airfield Machulishchi near Minsk.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the Belarusian peacekeepers successfully completed their tasks and “gained a unique experience of participating in a peacekeeping mission.”
Earlier today, it was reported that ten planes with CSTO peacekeepers of Belarus took off from the Zhytygen military airfield to the Minsk region.
Recall that on January 6, against the backdrop of mass riots and pogroms, peacekeepers from the Russian Federation, Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan began to arrive in Kazakhstan. On January 13, their withdrawal began. It will run until January 19th.
