Lavender soothes and heals, it has many different functions.
Lavender scent relieves stress
Fresh or dried lavender flowers have an active aroma that is enhanced when rubbed between your fingers. To cheer up and relieve stress in a matter of minutes, you need to rub several flower buds between your fingers and inhale the rising esters slowly and deeply.
The scent of lavender, its essential oil, will soothe nervous tension, calm anxiety and panic attacks within a couple of minutes.
Dried lavender tea
Made from dried flower flowers, it has a relaxing and soothing effect. Pour a large cup of boiling water over a dessert spoon of dried lavender flowers and let it brew for 10 minutes.
It goes well with jasmine, mint, herbs with a “calm” taste. Lavender tea soothes, helps with bloating, induces restful sleep with pleasant dreams.
Lavender essential oil can be used as a perfume by rubbing a drop in your hair, dripping on your wrists…. Lavender is paired with patchouli, ylang ylang, cinnamon, rose, jasmine, lemon, bergamot and tangerine – any combination can be your exclusive scent.
To help relax – boil water in a small saucepan, add a handful of dried lavender flowers and let it brew for 10 minutes.
Squeeze the flowers into a saucepan, pour the broth into a hot bath. A few drops of essential oil won’t hurt either. Lavender in cosmetology works wonders, for example, heals stretch marks.
Helps well with sunburn. Add a few drops of lavender oil to a spray bottle.
Sachet with lavender
Sew a cotton or linen dried lavender sachet, fill it with flowers, and toss it into the dryer along with your laundry. One sachet can be used 20-25 times.
Lavender for restful sleep
For a pleasant dream and restful sleep, put a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow. Or add some dried lavender flowers to your pillow.
Lavender for germs
The antiseptic, wound-healing properties of lavender oil can be used for insect bites – relieves swelling and itching, cleans the wound from germs. There are many medicinal uses for lavender.
