The mayor of Blagoveshchensk, Oleg Imameev, who previously had a coronavirus infection, became a donor of anticoid plasma, the city administration website says.
As the press service told, on Monday, December 28, the official visited the Amur regional blood transfusion station, where he donated immune plasma, which is now needed by patients of covid hospitals in the capital of the Amur Region.
It is known that the mayor was ill with coronavirus back in October, he suffered a mild illness.
According to the latest data, more than 10.5 thousand liters of anticoid blood plasma have been prepared in Russia.
Meanwhile, over 440 thousand new cases of COVID were registered in the world over the past day, the number of victims of the new virus increased by 7 393 – up to 1 754 493.
