Apostles and Apocrypha will be filmed for Netflix. The film will be based on the creations of early Christian literature (apocrypha), which did not enter the canon of the books of Holy Scripture.

As Hollow Schroeder noted in an interview with the New Yorker, people know the New Testament, but they are not familiar with the Apocrypha. In the first century, there were no New Testament texts, but there were all these stories, some of which were true, and some were imitations.
