Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the current American leader, Donald Trump, wanted to destroy Venezuela and kill him.
The head of the Bolivarian Republic announced this during a speech in Caracas, which was broadcast on state television.
Maduro noted that Trump’s main goal during his four years in power was the destruction of Venezuela.
“Several times he ordered to kill me,” he added.
The head of the republic also said that he considers Trump the personification of “maximum hatred, violence and aggression in world politics.”
Earlier, the Venezuelan president said the EU and the United States refused to unfreeze Caracas’ accounts to pay for the coronavirus vaccine.
