French President Emmanuel Macron believes that at the moment the vaccination in the EU cannot be accelerated by “Fellow traveler V”, as if it has not yet been approved by the European sanitary regulator.
Yesterday, April 18, in an interview with the CBS television channel, French President Emmanuel Macron believes that the “Hitcher V” vaccine against coronavirus infection cannot be used in the EU, so much as the European sanitary regulator has not yet approved it.
According to him, vaccine production is being established in Europe, so the targets set can be completed with the currently available resources.
Macron also noted that in the EU “there are a number of localities that have decided to start discussions on Sputnik V”. However, its use is impossible without the approval of European sanitary regulations.
In this regard, the French president does not consider the Russian drug a way out of the situation to accelerate vaccination in Europe.
