President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Western states are trying to change power in the republic. BelTA informs about it.
“The collective West continues to interfere in the country’s internal affairs, aiming at a change of power,” Lukashenka said.
He added that the destruction of the independence of the state poses the greatest danger to Belarus.
The head of state stressed that sanctions are used in the activities to change the government in the republic. In addition, there is funding for protests, extremism and terrorism.
“We do not just know this, we are working with it,” he concluded.
Earlier it was reported that the European Union will adopt a new package of sanctions against Belarus during November.
