Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko addressed top officials at the Palace of Independence. The politician announced the improvement of the situation in the republic.
The head of Belarus said that a difficult period in the history of the country is coming to an end. An attempt by the dissatisfied to blow up the situation and destroy stability in Minsk and several other large cities was unsuccessful. "The time for the rallies is over," Alexander Lukashenko noted.
According to him, most areas lived in a normal rhythm. Enterprises were modernized in the cities, schools, hospitals and houses were built, BelTA informs. Lukashenko added that the country continues to move forward, the well-being of Belarusians is gradually growing.
The leader of the republic also thanked the power bloc for their support in a difficult time. Alexander Lukashenko called them staunch and loyal people who behaved in a decent and reliable manner. "Now is our time, it is necessary to continue creation," said the politician.

For the first time, they were able to reach the elite village of Drozdy, where the residence of Alexander Lukashenko is located, as well as the house of the head of the Central Election Commission, Lydia Yermoshina.
Security officials detained about 400 demonstrators in Minsk. They used truncheons, water cannons and stun grenades to suppress the protests. How many demonstrators suffered on Sunday from the actions of police officers has not yet been specified.
