Alexander Lukashenko announced the end of a difficult period in Belarus. The President blames the West for what happened.
According to Lukashenka, Jin Sharp's training manual on inciting “color revolutions” helped to organize the "white maidan". This was noticeable back in 2010, when opposition bloggers appeared in Belarus at the behest of Western countries. However, then, according to the president, the opponents did not manage to organize riots.
At the same time, Alexander Grigorievich noted that today the "time of barricades", which lasted for the last two months, is over. He also named the states involved in the protests. Lukashenko is convinced that the United States, Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Ukraine tried to overthrow the current government, Tsargrad writes.
The President expressed gratitude to the power structures of Belarus, which showed loyalty and withstood the onslaught of the West.
Let us remind you that mass protests in the republic began immediately after the end of the presidential elections. On the evening of August 9, people took to the streets of the cities demanding Lukashenka's resignation. According to the CEC, Aleksandr Grigorievich received 80% of the vote, while his main opponent Svetlana Tikhanovskaya received only 10%.
Oppositionists are convinced of falsification of election results. Over time, this point of view was shared by European countries. In this regard, after some time, sanctions were imposed on the officials of Belarus and the current president of the Republic of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
