Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived on a working visit to Russia, according to the Telegram channel Sputnik Belarus.
The plane of the head of Belarus has landed in Sochi, where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is specified that they will communicate face to face.
Recall that during this meeting, Putin and Lukashenko will discuss bilateral cooperation in various fields. Particular attention is expected to be paid to large projects in the trade, economic and energy sectors.
In addition, the heads of the two countries will touch upon international issues and consider issues of joint response to emerging challenges.
As noted, following the meeting, it is not planned to sign joint documents and hold a press conference.
The visit to Russia became for Lukashenka the first foreign trip after the presidential elections, the results of which are opposed by the Belarusian opposition.
