A police officer from Palm Beach County (Florida, USA) was sitting in his patrol car when he noticed the dog.
The animal wandered aimlessly near the car, so the policeman, not without reason, assumed that it was lost. The man opened the car door to call the dog, and was very surprised – his new acquaintance not only readily ran up, but also willingly jumped into the cabin, sitting in the passenger seat. The policeman had to take the dog for a ride – he took it to the Department of Animal Control.
There the dog was examined and found a microchip. Thanks to him, it was possible to find out information about the owners of the animal, so that very soon the owners were reunited with the lost and found pet.
