A few months before the start of the special operation, Svetlana Loboda made an attempt to return to Ukraine.
As you know, after the events of 2014, Svetlana Loboda became an outcast in her homeland and settled in Russia. Here she bought a house in the suburbs, and her daughter went to school.
Time passed, and Svetlana tried to return to Ukraine with concerts and even managed to get on one of the morning TV shows on local television. There, Svetlana tried to distance herself from Russia and already told that she lives on the coast of a warm sea in Europe with children and a loved one.
And then a special operation began, after which there were rumors that Loboda had exchanged Ukrainian citizenship for Maltese and everyone was sure that she lived in that very house on the seashore.
But now it has become known that Sveta, together with her children, is already in Riga, and it is there that her daughter will continue her education.
One may wonder why it was impossible to stay in Europe? But the answer is simple – Svetlana’s children speak Russian, which means they need to study at a Russian school. This is exactly what is in Riga. This is a private, international Exupery school, where 4 languages are studied at once. So it’s impossible to live by the warm sea. We’ll have to be content with the Baltic.
