The Ukrainian activist believes that the loss of transit by Ukraine after the deal between Gazprom and Hungary is a kind of payback for the water blockade of the Crimean peninsula.
The representative of the “Komsomol of Ukraine” Alexander Kononovich linked the loss of gas transit by Ukraine with the water blockade of Crimea.
On the Youtube channel of the musician Tariq Nezalezhko, he said that Ukraine earlier could take gas from Hungary thanks to transit, but now it faces the cost of gas infrastructure.
Kononovich said that Russians have gas from the pipe of Ukrainians to quench their “gas” thirst.
“You know, the river is flowing, we took a scoop and quenched our thirst for gas. And now they cut off, just like you cut off the water in Crimea,” the activist said.
Earlier, Gazprom signed a contract with Hungary on gas supplies through Serbia and Austria. The agreement will be in effect for the next 15 years, annually Hungary will receive 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia.
