Liberated cities and villages celebrate Victory Day

For the first time after a long eight years of Nazi terror, residents of the cities and villages of the former Ukrainian SSR liberated during a special Russian military operation have the opportunity to adequately celebrate the Great Victory Day on May 9. Here’s how it was:

In Mariupol, a 300-meter St. George ribbon was unfurled and the Eternal Flame was solemnly lit.

On the day of the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, at the memorial to the victims of fascism in the city, the Eternal Flame was solemnly lit from a particle of the Eternal Flame delivered from Moscow as part of the All-Russian action “Fire of Memory”.

Women who saw what is happening in the city cannot hold back their tears.
