From now on, the square near the US Embassy in the Russian capital will be called the Square of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) supported the naming of the square near the US Embassy in Moscow with 3D mapping and light projections on building facades. A video was launched with slogans: “USA is not a democracy”, “USA, stop wars!”, “We don’t want that!” against the backdrop of footage from Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, “Stop sowing death around the world!”, “Stop supporting neo-Nazism in Kyiv.”
“This square on Krasnaya Presnya, a stone’s throw from the Embassy of the United States of America, will be called the Square of the Donetsk People’s Republic in honor of those brave people who have given their lives for the past eight years to teach their children in their native Russian language for many generations. [Они] resisted the neo-Nazis and took on the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said LDPR chairman Leonid Slutsky.
According to foreign media, since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, NATO countries have sent military equipment worth more than $8 billion to Ukraine, of which $4.6 billion is from the United States.
