Valentina Legkostupova passed away on August 14, 2020. The performer of the hit “Yagoda-Malina” was 54 years old. After the death of the singer, a serious struggle began for her inheritance. Yesterday, February 23, it was reported that the third husband of the pop star Yuri Firsov, with whom she formalized a relationship on July 4, 2020, now lives in the artist’s apartment and is not going to give it to her children and her second husband. Moreover, he changed the locks from the front door and does not agree to let anyone into the house.

The night before, star lawyer Sergei Zhorin said that the situation with Legkostupova’s inheritance is much more complicated. He noted that Firsov may well claim all the property of the deceased singer, while it was previously reported that he, as a widower, has the right to count only on a small share of the inheritance.

“The marital share of Firsov has absolutely no meaning, it is not in any property, because the marriage lasted 40 days. What matters is what belonged to Valentina Legkostupova during her lifetime. Therefore, according to the law, Firsov can lay claim to absolutely all the property that Legkostupova had at the time of her death – all the property that she could earn in her entire creative life, ”the lawyer says.

Sergei Zhorin also noted that the family of the late artist has a significant question for Firsov. Initially, on the air of each TV program with his participation, he emphasized that he was a wealthy man and supported the whole family, but now, having inherited, he announced that he had nowhere and nothing to live on and settled in the apartment of the late artist.

It is worth noting that earlier, 57-year-old Yuri Firsov responsibly stated: he does not intend to participate in litigation. Lawyer Sergei Zhorin said that the inconsolable widower changed the locks on the doors immediately after he received the documents from the notary about the inheritance. Also, according to the lawyer, Firsov can lay claim to the country house of the late singer – she bought it before marriage with Firsov, so there is no marital share in it, Zhorin told the Pyatniy Channel correspondent.

Recall that the unsold house was included in the list of inheritance, which will be shared by the children of Legkostupova, her widower and mother. It was believed that the family left the star property for 100 million rubles. The already mentioned cottage of the singer and her apartment in the center of Moscow were estimated at this amount.

It was about a property measuring 78 square meters. Its real price is over 100 million rubles. It takes half an hour to walk from the Kremlin to the apartments of Legkostupova, and the Hermitage Garden is located next to the house. Earlier it became known that the property did not fully belong to Valentina Legkostupova. According to the documents, half of the housing is owned by her daughter Anette Bril. It turns out that each of the heirs can claim about 10 square meters.
