Lavrov was presented with a vase with scenes from Scandinavian mythology

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov received a gift from the rector of the Arctic University of Norway, Dag Rune Olsen, a vase that can be used for whiskey, reports RIA News.

The meeting between Lavrov and Olsen took place on the sidelines of the 18th ministerial session of the Barents Euro-Arctic Council in Tromsø, Norway.

It is specified that the vessel is made of dark blue glass and decorated with images from Scandinavian mythology.

The rector also presented the Russian minister with the book “Rapprochement of Russia and Norway in 1814-1917”.

Earlier it was reported that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent Montreal-style smoked meat to US President Joe Biden after American hockey players won over Canadian players.
