Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin "on the TV channel" Russia-1 "said that Moscow will not leave unanswered possible new sanctions from the West.
According to Lavrov, nobody canceled the principle of reciprocity in international affairs.
Earlier, the German government announced the possible introduction of sanctions against Nord Stream-2. At the same time, Angela Merkel announced the need to complete the construction of the gas pipeline. The Chancellor of Germany stressed that it is inappropriate to link this project with the case of blogger Alexei Navalny.
Lavrov noted that Germany demonstrates an absolutely unacceptable attitude to the legal requirements and requests of Russia on the situation with the blogger. In particular, the FRG for a long time left Russia's requests unanswered, and reacted to all the reminders, in his words, arrogantly: “you yourself know everything, you must answer for everything”.
