Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke by telephone with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
According to RIA Novosti, a source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry asked Lavrov to warn the Armenian side about the observance of the truce in Nagorno-Karabakh.
It should be reminded that on October 9, negotiations between the foreign ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia were held in Moscow, following which a truce was declared in Nagorno-Karabakh from 12:00 on October 10 "for humanitarian purposes to exchange prisoners and bodies of the dead."
The results of the negotiations with Armenia in Moscow were positively assessed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. He also stated that he did not rule out the possibility of negotiations with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. According to him, certain conditions are required for such a meeting to take place.
Meanwhile, today in Baku they announced the shelling of the city of Ganja, as a result of which 9 people were killed. Armenia, in turn, called this data disinformation.
