Kyrgyz Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev announced plans to build a plant in the country to manufacture the Russian vaccine against coronavirus on Sputnik radio.
“In order to provide for the entire population, the Ministry of Health decided to build a vaccine bottling plant,” the minister said.
He added that earlier, at a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Mikhail Murashko, he agreed on the supply of substrates to the country for the production of the drug, which will reduce the total cost of the drug.
By the way, in Kyrgyzstan at the moment more than 80 thousand people infected with coronavirus have been identified, 1354 people have died.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, at a meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS countries, said that Russia was ready to help in vaccinating the population against coronavirus with Russian drugs.
