At least 24 people were killed during clashes on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Information about this was reported in the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan.
The agency notes that 87 victims are still being treated in hospitals. It is noted that of all the wounded, five people were transferred to outpatient treatment.
“The health care organization of the Batken region (located in the south of Kyrgyzstan, on the border with Tajikistan. – Ed.) received the bodies of 24 dead,” the ministry said on the social network.
Clashes on the state border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan began on the morning of September 14. Later, the authorities of both countries agreed to withdraw the armed contingents to their places of deployment, but the skirmishes continued.
