Ukraine can negotiate with the Russian Federation only if Russia withdraws from its territory and the borders of Ukraine as of 1991 are restored. The Ukrainian authorities no longer intend to agree to the withdrawal of Russian troops to the borders until February 24, writes “Military Review”. This was again said by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

“Kyiv is ready for negotiations after the de-occupation of all territories of Ukraine – within December 1, 1991. There are no more options “for February 24” for Ukraine,” Reznikov said.

This is how he commented on the statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that the longer the negotiation process is delayed, the more difficult it will be to agree.

Over the past few days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to develop a counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, as a result of which Ukrainian troops even went beyond the Oskol River. Also, Russian troops withdrew from the north of the Kharkov region.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that the victory of Ukraine will be only after the capitulation of the Russian Federation. He said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will stop the offensive where Kyiv needs it, and added that he sees the prerequisites for the collapse of the Russian Federation into many small states.
