Russia has approved a procedure for monitoring the work of guardianship and guardianship authorities, which includes 21 indicators. Anna Kuznetsova, plenipotentiary under the President of the Russian Federation for the rights of the child, said this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Kuznetsova drew attention to the increase in the number of appeals, questions and problems related to the activities of this department in recent years, however, according to her, the resources for their solution were not enough.
“Of course, it is necessary to solve tactical tasks, namely, reforming the guardianship authorities,” said the children’s ombudsman.
Today, as Anna Kuznetsova noted, there is no single approach to organizing the work of the guardianship and guardianship authorities, since in the regions of the country this activity is structured differently, while “requirements are growing.”
As part of the reform of this system, a working group was created, which also includes the Ministry of Education. To date, the monitoring procedure has already been approved, which includes 21 indicators, in addition, criteria for the effectiveness of the work of the guardianship and guardianship authorities have been determined.
