Krasnodar lost at home to Dynamo Zagreb in the first leg of the 1/16 finals of the Europa League.
On the 15th minute B. Petkovich took advantage of a mistake made by Krasnodar players and scored the opening nag in the game. The hosts’ forward M. Berg regained balance after the ill-fated removal of the ball from the penalty area by the Zagreb club’s lawyer.
In the second half of the meeting, after a corner kick at the exit, the hosts’ goalkeeper E. Gorodov fought, thereby giving Petkovich an opportunity to score a double. Berg could also have scored a double, but the Swede ran offside at the time of the assist and the referee canceled the naga.
But the Russian team was still able to level the score in the game – after a cross from the left flank, V. Klasson scored the ball.
15 minutes before the end of the match, Dynamo Zagreb took the lead again, Iyayi Atimven struck a neat blow into the bottom corner of Krasnodar’s goal. The result is 2: 3 in favor of the guests.
The return match between the teams will take place on February 25 in Croatia.
