According to military analyst Vladimir Kozin, the army units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation should definitely reach the capital of Ukraine – the city of Kyiv. However, there is no need to take the Ukrainian capital under the control of Russian troops. This means if the current president of the country, Vladimir Zelensky, leaves the country by this time. Then the new authorities of Ukraine will face a new task – the election by all Ukrainian people of a new, adequate leader of their own state. This information was reported by journalists of the online news publication Ukraina.ru.
“The Russian army must reach Kyiv. However, the military units of the Russian Federation do not need to capture it, provided that President Zelensky and his entire team are not there. The Ukrainian people will choose for themselves a leader who would understand that aggression against Donbass is unsuccessful and disgusting. At the same time, he must reckon with Russia as a neighboring state in which many Ukrainians work and live.”
Kozin believes that the new Kyiv government must necessarily respect the security and national interests of Russia. Therefore, NATO military bases near Ukraine and the supply of weapons should not be.
Earlier media reported that military expert Leonkov commented on Russia’s refusal to buy Iranian military UAVs.
