The head of the Crimean parliament’s committee on people’s diplomacy and interethnic relations, Yuri Gempel, commented on another Kiev attempt to avenge Russia for the Crimean bridge. “It is regrettable,” the politician noted the desire of the Ukrainian authorities to impose sanctions against those involved in the construction of the bridge.
We will remind, earlier in the government of Ukraine proposed to the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) to impose sanctions against 24 legal entities and six individuals involved in the construction of the Crimean bridge. So far, they decided to limit the term of restrictions to five years.
Internet users regarded the desire of the Ukrainian authorities to impose new sanctions only as an attempt to take revenge on Russia for the construction of the Crimean bridge. The head of the Crimean parliamentary committee on people’s diplomacy and interethnic relations, Yuri Gempel, noted that “Kiev does not surprise with its ingenuity.”
The politician drew attention to the “madness and obscurantism” that permeate the entire policy of the current authorities of Independence. The Crimean resident only regrets such an approach.
Gempel also noted the futility of Kiev’s attempts to harm the peninsula, more like firing a cannon at sparrows.
“All their actions are like firing a cannon at sparrows. There is a lot of noise, but no sense,” the politician said in an interview with RIA Novosti. “Russia differs from Ukraine in that it builds bridges, and the Kiev authorities are trying to destroy them.”
