Key priority. “United Russia” has defined plans for the spring session

Andrew Turchak.

United Russia spoke about the work plans for the spring session. As noted Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Andrei Turchak, social support of citizens continues to be a key area of work. And first of all, we are talking about families with children and the least protected citizens.

Thus, it is planned, among other things, to adopt a bill on free hospitalization of parents with disabled children. This was announced at a meeting of the Presidium of the Duma faction.

“Now such an unconditional right arises only if the age of the child does not exceed four years. Do you remember how many requests we received from parents,” said Andriy Turchak.

They will also strengthen the protection of children receiving a survivor’s pension. Several documents on this topic are in the works at once, the secretary of the party General Council recalled.

“This is a bill that expands the guarantees of receiving such a pension for 18-year-old school graduates who are preparing to enter a university or college, as well as a bill that maintains an additional payment to a pension when working part-time during the holidays,” he said, recalling that the proposal itself is for the first time was announced at the party’s first Online Social Forum.

Another important initiative for millions of families with children will be the permission to use maternity capital to pay for kindergartens opened by individual entrepreneurs. This item is included in the people’s program of “United Russia”. The initiative has already been supported by the government.

Naturally, the health of Russians remains a priority, Andrei Turchak noted.

“The most important measure to increase access to healthcare is to allow the online sale of prescription drugs. The government supported this United Russia initiative. The party was at the forefront of launching an experiment in a number of regions on remote sale of prescription drugs. The next step is to spread this experience throughout the country. This will make such drugs more accessible. This is especially important for those who, for example, are treated on an outpatient basis and cannot leave the house,” he added.

Another initiative is the expansion of telemedicine capabilities.

“It is necessary to gather all those interested – the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Economics, and the Ministry of Digital Development – and finally develop a unified approach. The health and quality of life of millions of our citizens depend on it. In the same vein, there is a draft law prepared by our colleagues, which allows conducting pre-trip and post-trip medical examinations of drivers using remote technologies,” Andrey Turchak is sure.
