Russian tennis player Aslan Karatsev defeated the first racket of the world Novak Djokovic in the semifinals of the Serbian’s home tournament in Belgrade.
The meeting, which passed within the framework of the ATP 250 series tournament, ended with a score of 7: 5, 4: 6, 6: 4. The meeting lasted 3 hours and 27 minutes.
During the match, Karatsev played 23 break points on his serve.
In the final, the Russian tennis player will play with the Italian Matteo Berrettini, who beat the Japanese Taro Daniel in his semifinal match.
This final of the ATP series tournament will be the second of the season for Karatsev. In March, Aslan won the title in Dubai.
