Actress Julia Peresild has successfully landed on the ground.

On October 5, Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko, in the company of cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, went to the International Space Station to shoot the film “Challenge”. The actress and director returned to Earth today.

The film crew landed on Earth at about 7:35 am Moscow time. Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko returned home under the guidance of cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky. Anton Shkaplerov, with whom the actress and director flew away, stayed on the ISS for another six months. The film crew will be greeted on the ground by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin, as well as the general director of Channel One, Konstantin Ernst.

With a group of helicopters we fly to the planned landing site of the ship“- shared by this time Rogozin in the social network.

The Soyuz MS-18 ship returned earlier than planned. “According to the updated data, undocking at 04:14, turning on the ship’s propulsion system to issue a braking impulse at 06:41:46 and landing of the descent vehicle at 07:35:42 148 kilometers southeast of the city of Zhezkazgan“, – reported on the website of the state corporation.

Initially, the landing was calculated at 07:36:35 Moscow time and two kilometers closer to Zhezkazgan.

Recall that Peresild and Shipenko flew into space to shoot the film “Challenge” (so far this is the working title of the film). This project will tell about a woman doctor who will go to the ISS to rescue an astronaut. The main character will have to do this in conditions that are not adapted to medical interventions.

By the way, the director got in touch from space and told how the work process was progressing. “On October 6th we shot several scenes, two specifically. We are practically on schedule, in which we planned to be, so so far everything is going according to plan“, – Klim shared the details.
