The head of the British Cabinet of Ministers Boris Johnson expressed condolences over the death of Prince Philip, RIA Novosti reports.
The prime minister noted that the prince earned the love of his people and around the world, and was also loyal to his family and the monarchy.
Prince Philip has passed away at the age of 100. Mourning has been declared in the United Kingdom.
The funeral plan was revised due to the coronavirus pandemic. The farewell procession in London has been canceled, and the prince’s body will not be exhibited for a public farewell. It will remain at Windsor Castle until buried at St George’s Chapel.
